Wow, great pictures.

I like the Purple Plasma pic.. Very nice and keep snapping pics

The picture of the sunset is awesome IMO, lots of depth and the focus is great. I like the purple plasma pic a lot as well. I want to see some more of what you got.

What lens did you use?

I just bought a Nikkor Micro 60mm for my Nikon D70s. I am hoping to get some shots like that.

Would love to know the tips that Gary gave you.

Sorry did not see your questions.

I have a
Canon XT w/100mm f/2.8 Macro Lens

tips - make sure you setup your custom white balance. i had never done it and it was really easy to setup. The tips i got from gary was really just watching him work. He took his time, don't rush. Have the right equipment. the little things help.

I use a tripod, remote shutter, turn off all pumps, clean the glass inside and out, have plenty of time.

Thanks!

I haven't had a chance to play with the white settings, but have been watching a DVD about all the option on my camera.

Rocko pretty much covered it. Tripod and remote release or timer are critical. Your lens face must be parallel with the glass. Manual focus, manual shutter speed/aperture. I usually shoot at ISO 400. Flow must be off and glass clean. If your camera shoots in the RAW format, you would do well to learn how to use that format. Much easier and more accurate than setting a custom white balance.

Thanks Gary!

Yes, I can shoot RAW and have just started watching that area of the DVD.

A friend that owns a local dive shop says that he always shoots RAW when he is diving. He has offered to assist me with my venture

Thanks again. You and Rocko have been a big help.

Oh man.. you're pretty BA with the camera man!! Those first Zoas shots are right on the money with drawing saliva from my mouth, to the floor without my notice.
