hi! I am keeping a maco planted tank and i was wondering if anyone had any tips. I had macros before and they always died!

Chaeto gro would help as it has all the minerals macro algae need to survive. Also more red lighting would help a lot

I'd avoid putting in any green macro into your display: chaeto is ugly, blade caulerpa is a favourite of urchins, and halimeda too difficult to keep unless you have very stable water parameters. Halymenia is a red macroalga that is both attractive and excpetionally easy to keep, and is widely available, and it's therefore something I'd recommend for any tank.
