just set up 2 tanks on 5/16... a 32 biocube stock led, natures ocean live sand/water... dry rock, zoomed fan, heater, coralife protien skimmer... and a 13.5 fluval sea evo stock same sand/water but using 2 barnacles so i can use it as a baby frag tank till i figure out what to do with it..

now my question... i was given macrobacter7 in my tank kit when i ordered it online, i don't understand the instructions on it... is it good to use during the cycle? i just hit amonia spike (raw shrimp method)... do i use it after the cycle? do i use it at all?

second question at what point do i add clean up crew? do i add it before fishes or after? i wont be adding fish probably till late june/early july. thanks for the help.

If you want to use it during cycle you use 5ml per 25 gallons once a day for 2 weeks to seed your bio filter.
After that 5ml per 50 gal no more than once a week.
On my 120 I dose 5ml a week as maintenance. That is less than 1/2 recommended dose.
I dont add cleanup crew until they are needed as their is nothing for them to cleanup. Once you have a stable tank and are feeding fish then thats when I would add a cleanup crew.

i have a 32 biocube, so do i do tank size ? or water volume after rocks were put in? and i also have a 13.5 fluval.. and can i add it in the middle of the amonia cycle? or do i need to wait for the cycling to complete? sorry so many questions....
