Macros for ulns system?

I've been working on a refugium for my reefer 450 and needed to find out what kind of macros are best being it is more for pods than nutrient export. Currently tank stays about 2 on nitrates and .08 to .16 on phosphates. I carbon dose nopox and all other parameters are within norms. I would rather not do mud or sand in fuge but open to suggestions on this also. I thought I had read that certain macros were better in this type system but can't find article or vendor where I read this. Any help or opinions always welcome and aporeciated. Thanks

Just chato imo. It will do nutrient export very well and because of the curly bushes it good for pods to hide. Easy too.
