Macros or Cuc Snaccos

I have a 7.1 gallon AIO with 2 red legged hermits, a cerith and a Nass snail.

Are my hermits going to eat my algae like popcorn?

Anyways- I found this little mystery box for sale on Etsy, pretty cheap- and couldn’t help myself. I bought it before my crabs!

string of pearls is really nice
b u t i think it just depends on what type you have, i’ve heard other peoples hermits and such eat their macros
however none of mine have ever shown an interest at all so you should probably be fine
