Hey R2R,

I've been a long time lurker, gleaming knowledge without contributing! I felt this was as good as any time to change my position!

Although I'm affectionately known as "Maddy" by those closest to me, my name is Matt. I've been reefing since 2008, starting with a 14 gallon biocube and moving up from there. Most recently, I completed the setup of a 400 gallon peninsula tank in a 29th floor office in downtown OKC, you guys may see a build thread if I can get the pictures together. I'm looking forward to sharing in healthy discussion and continued experiences with everyone here!

A build thread for my current tank (40 breeder) is upcoming!

Thanks for the welcome everyone! As requested, some teaser pics for the upcoming build threads...

Current tank (40 Breeder):

Most of the research in designing and building these two systems came from R2R. I couldn't count how many threads I read on equipment and chemistry to get my plan just right. I'll get the build threads started as soon as I get some time to sit down and explain my thoughts...

Welcome! Congrats on joining to most fun and addicting forum of the universe, please be patient and refrain from exiting this roller coaster of a hobby. If you get stuck or in line to get on the ride please be patient! Now in all seriousness, patience is a huge thing in this hobby. Can't wait to see some pics!

Sure there is! I thought I had posted here, but I guess not! I've started build threads for both tanks! See links in my sig! Look forward to a new DIY dosing setup on my 40 Breeder, designed by @djbetterly!
