Hi everyone! Super excited to finally start a reef tank!!
I spent the last couple years drooling over tidal gardens, watching video after video, and trying to live vicariously through everyone. I finally couldn't take it anymore, and my friend was selling her whole setup soooo.... yay new tank!!
I've had some FW planted tanks for about a year now (back down to 2 from 4[emoji28]). Saltwater is new to me though.
I am now the proud owner of a 10 gal salt water tank! I have an aqueon HOB filter and heater. I believe it is a hydor 425 pump, but I'm not sure. I also got the wave point blade, high output LED sitting on top of an aqueon glass top!
Pretty basic set up for what I'm hoping will be a fairly basic tank.
I surprisingly had it all cycled within a week and started putting some of my CUC in!
I got some live sand for cheap, but it was just dry rock. I have a nerite, narsissus, and a dwarf cerith snail as well as a red tip hermit and a skunk cleaner shrimp!
