As far as I know, the only Madracis species that should be M. kirbyi, not any of the Caribbean Madracis species, if the corals being sold as Madracis are even Madracis. Some people say that Madracis are NPS, but this is misleading, as only the temperate and deepwater species, such as M. pharensis, are azooxanthellate.
 
It's helpful. Still looking for anyone that has this in their tanks to chime in on growth, care, things like that. Also very curious why it isn't carried by more coral vendors.
