I have always kept anemones. I'm starting to like acro. I have 2 easy acro that are doing great. I want to add more.
To make room, I need to move the mag into the BTA colony. Does anyone have experience with this? Do they get along? I know my haddoni doesn't like to touch the BTA.

Usually they can touch, but there have been some claims of chem warfare.

I think it depends on how they grow into each others space as opposed to just dumping them onto each other.

Some people will run carbon to be safe.

I run carbon 24/7. This will be a case of dumping into the middle of the colony. Alternatively, I can remove the rocks in the middle and then slide everything over.

I would prefer a peaceful introduction, it's one thing for them to grow and touch, but I have had nems look like they were kind of defending themselves from another taking it's area once, or it at least looked that way to me.

I think it's kinda like how some sps can kinda grow and touch, but if you mess w/ or disturb too much they can slime up in a protective manner, and it looked similar to me w/ a crispa and doreensis I had together once where I had to keep pulling them apart from each other.

This is just my opinion based on what I observed from that, so take it for what it's worth.

It depends on your rockwork too. BTAs like to hide their foot. Mags like flat rocks. If you dump a mag in the middle of BTAs, it'll most likely move away, not because of allelopathy, but because its foot is not comfortable.

I'm moving the whole rock the mag is on.
