mag cal and alk help.

hey guys looking for threads or to just chat about what is the mag cycle. well how do magnesium calcium and alkalinity support each other. what raises when what lowers whay do they lower.... why would any raise. how do i keep them in check?

To simply answer the second to last question, none of these will rise in any normal reef tank unless you add them or do a water change with higher levels in it.

If you detect a rise and didn't add them, it is testing error.
