Mag test kit dropper

I picked up the foundation test kit and am wondering if this is normal for the Mag part B dropper bottle? Seems defective to me but I thought it is also possible that this shape might be being used to control the drop size.

Contact Red Sea about this. They are good about replacing defective stuff.
