I have frag with two polyps on it. Since I've had I rescued it from another tank in distress it hasn't grown any it's been over six months. It's on the bottom of my tank with moderate flow. Lighting is LEDs blue at 100 whites at 50-60? What's has helped with other people growing these??

magician's are easy to keep coral. adapts very well to different light/flow conditions. if you really want huge polyps on these, feed them directly on the polyp - small mysis.

I had a 1 polyp frag that stayed closed for close to 8 months. Finally just the other day, it opened.

Wish I could help here. I've had my frag for about 6 months . Had 4 polyps. Exploded to 8 within two weeks. Then all closed up. Tried lugol's, furan2, chemiclean. Nothing helped. Have about 3 polyps open now. Others still closed.

I have had my magician for 6 months, it hasn't grown a bit. In fact I had 2, but one went missing, so I just have a little red dot sitting around on it's own rock.
