I have a 120 gallon LPS system about 10 months old. I started dosing BRS 2-part after a couple months. Until now I havent added Magnesium. My test always came back about the same as NSW 1350-1400. I got a little lax and didnt measure for a few months. I measured yesterday and Im at 1050. Im adding BRS Mag daily to get back in range. ( 750ml for around 80ppm )

I currently dose 80ml of BRS Alk and Cal daily. I have a dosing head open and I want to go ahead and start Mag daily. Based on my Cal / Alk consumption is there a ratio that I can start Mag dosing then adjust from there.

The two part has a fixed ratio that the magnesium part should be dosed in. It is at 16% of the volume of the alk part dosed. So dose 13 mL per day.

Wow thank you op for asking this.
Man I Never get tired of say this THANK YOU VERY MUCH MR. Randy Holmes-Farley.

One ? Total value of the alk dosed per week or day

You're welcome.

The original recipe is to dose 610 mL of magnesium part during the time you dose a full gallon of one of the other two (alk and calcium).

So that works out to 16%, whether that is 16% of a daily dose (added daily), or 16% of the weekly dosed (added once a week).

If you add 80 ml of the alk part daily, then the 13 mL is daily.
