Magnesium help!

So i am doing this kent magnesium method too kill my algea. So i half to get a test kit for mag but not sure wich kit will show my results all the way up at 1600ppm? some only go up too 1500ppm?

Red Sea Pro is what I use.

If you use the Salifert test kit, go completely through the process, then refill the syringe again and continue the drops until the color change. Then add the 1500 from the previous syringe to the total from the second syringe.
