So I have a 100 gallon total water volume! I have to add 90 ml of bright well aquatics mag to maintain my mag at 1400 does that sound like a lot? My alk is 9.2 my cal is 460 mag is 1400 I also use reef Chrystal's salt and in a gallon of top off water I use 1/2 tablespoon per gallon and add half gallon to sump because of evaporation. I have some sps some lps and some softies

It's sound about right maybe a little high but maybe if you lower your cal to 440 or 420 and your alk will come down to 7 to8 dkh then maybe you will add a little less in mag. Your numbers are a little on the high side.

I'm also using Reef Crystals and my Mg is 1500 without any additive, Ca is 410 and Alk is 8.8. Testing with Red Sea test kit.

Before I only had to add 15 ml for a week before I added sps but there smaller corals still

Back off a little and see were the levels go. what are you dosing for cal and alk

Nothing for alk it was at a 14 and I've kept it steady at 9 finally. After Burnt tips in a ulns tank. And calcium I use jent turbo CA and I add a 1/2 table spoon to 1 gallon of top off water. It last about 2 to 3 days depending how much the heat is on in my house

You have to get to a better regiment of additives than what you are using. Turbo ca is not a very good thing. You should be adding alk and cal and mag independently.

I have 2 little fish part a and b and for cal alk. But I don't wanna raise the alk

Your turbo cal have alk in it so that's were your alk is at 9. Lower your turbo cal and you will see the alk drop with it. You will add less mag and probably still be at 1400
