So today is the first time I have tested my new tank for magnesium, calcium and alkalinity. Alkalinity was 10.9, calcium was 421 but magnesium was lower than 1000 ppm which can’t be read by my Hanna checker.
Question is now what? Assuming there is magnesium in my tank where do I start dosing wise to get it up to readable levels?
