My Red Sea magnesium kit is expired in 2019. To be sure for better accuracy, I am going to order a new test kit or refill for the Red Sea.

The refill kit $17.99 did not indicate “marine” while the regular kit sells for $23.99 says “marine” is there a different.

I got the pro kit which it contained ALk, Ca and mag. Just want to make sure I am greeting the right one.

lastly, should anyone suggest get the aquaforest kit instead, if so why?

The last one says “Marine” has less tests and more expansive? (I see that it comes with a vial and syringe)

They are both marine. The only thing the refill kit is missing is the vial and the card. If you are using the pro kit, you should recognize the syringe and chemicals in the refill kit.

Looks like the last one had changed the reagent to a dropper style?
The pro kit has the syringe so that you can measure tenths of a ml. That allows you to get a measurement range of 10 ppm or a reading of 1280 or 1290. The other kit used a dropper bottle and will give you a range such as 1200-1300. Depending on the types of coral you want to keep, the dropper may be precise enough.
