Magnesium supplement is causing a raise in calcium

After dosing a lot of Red Sea Magnesium, (the magnesium is at around 900), about 500 ml later the calcium is at 1100 on a 75 gallon tank. The calcium however shot up from 450 to 575. Why has this happened? They’re not using any supplement that has the possibility of raising calcium. Weekly water changes are done with RPM salt. The freshly mixed saltwater tested calcium for 470. Why is this happening? Asking for a friend, thanks!

I think there’s some sort of test issue or problem with the dosed product.

Magnesium is unlikely that low, and calcium is unlikely that high.
