Magnesium too high?

what can I do to lower my magnesium? I have a 210 gallon reef tank and my Alk is at 8 and cal at 450 but my mag is at 1650 testing with elos test kit. I have a dosing pump dosing with fauna Marin elements but my mag is turned off. It seems to be going up for some reason. Last time I tested mag it was at 1500 and now it's 1650.

Have you tested the magnesium level of your fresh saltwater used for water changes? Maybe it has elevated magnesium levels.

Unless you are dosing it somehow, or salinity is rising, the magnesium isn't really increasing.

Let's see what the new water shows.
