Magnesium

Good day to all.
I'm having a little MAG issue. My mag has been stable for months with just weekly water changes at 1400 with cal at 400 ALK 7DKH I dose BRS 2part just cal/alk I use ESV. Now since last week my mag dropped to 1050(got it back up to 1300 but it's dropping daily) and cal 350 alk made a little move also to 8.

Any ideas as to why my mag is moving like this ?
I think it may be my nems are growing and they are using up more now correct me if I'm wrong.

Not sure how fast you observed it moving, but if you see more than 1-2 ppm in a day, then that is likely testing error or a water change with a very low magnesium mix. At most, the drop is about 10% of the calcium drop.

It cannot suddenly drop 200 ppm. There's nowhere for it to go.

Anemones don't use a noticeable amount of magnesium.

Ok thank you will test with a different test kit I used salifert

Sorry about that the drop was not in one day I test once a week before water change.

Ok, but it still can't drop 200 ppm, even in a month (except by water change).

Ok. I got it back up right now it's at 1350.
