is it possible for magnesium to below and alk and calcium be ok for some reason i see my magnesium getting low just bought a new salifert test kit to make sure my old one wasnt the problem getting a reading of 1200 using esv

It is possible for it to be low, but it is not possible for it to be consumed when calcium and alk are not being consumed and/or dosed

.Most likely it is test error. Might be a low magnesium batch of salt, or a box of salt that settled out.

Try the magnesium kit on some new salt water and see how it compares to the tank.

I’m using tropic Marin pro just did a water change 2 weeks ago it’s actually a new bucket of salt
