Which magnet cleaner does everyone think is the must have?
Heard good and bad about all of them, from scratching glass to falling apart....curious what you guys think...

Love my algae free but the mag float worked great for a long time

I have this one and like it. Although I have only had it for about 2 months. So I can not speak to how long it last.

Been using flipper scrapers of various sizes for years without any issues. so thats what I recommend.

I have the Tunze one which is all plastic. It works well but the magnet is pretty week and it doesn't float. So when I can keep it on the glass I love it, but it usually falls at least once per cleaning.

I bought one off Amazon a few weeks back.. definitely scratches my glass. It sounds like others have had good experiences though. Probably just comes down to which brand & what kind of glass.

The algae free is super strong. Just make sure you get the right one and they look nice

Algae free, easy to replace scrubber and felt side. Handles nicely, cleans glass pretty good. To scrape I use the old yellow blades and scraper.

Tunze for me, never scratched my glass and works great. And strong magnet (get the right one) And there is an attachment to make it float. Kinda pricey but worth it

How thick is your glass? Do you use the strong or the strong+?

I have a flipper float standard on my 75 and love it. I have a hammerhead on my reefer my reefer 350. It's nice to look at but a bit of a work out. I find I use it less than I should becasue of how strong it is. I'm actually going through this debate rightnow. I want another flipper for my 22.5 fiji cube AIO it has 5/16" thick glass. Should I get the slipper standard or nano?

I have a flipper (not the float version) and it works, hasn’t scratched the glass, but there’s certain spots it just doesn’t get the algae up and not sure why. The blade is scraping but it’ll take 8 or 9 passes to even make a dent.

Have had the flipper. Now I have Tunze. Tinge much better. Get one with strong enough magnet for your glass thickness
