Magnet cleaning question

i was wondering what was the best way to clean my cheap magnet cleaner it’s been tossed around in the floor and etc idk what could possibly be on it but want it clean so I can do a swipe on my glass daily so the algae don’t stick and I have to scrub hard

Vinegar and Water is one of the best ways to clean the vast majority of tank stuff. Soak it for a bit and that crud will wipe right off.

Also. If you're having to scrub hard you may need a better(stronger) mag cleaner or simply a handheld scraper for those times when you need to manually get rid of the tougher stuff.

I just soak mine in a vinegar/water solution for some time and give it a light scrub with a brush.
