Magnetic Stirrer

I am seeing containers of different sizes and capacities and the manual says Regarding this.

Any container that fits on the plate should work without issues.

The only possible problem I can think of is if the dosing container is too thick for the stirrer to contact the stir pill.

If the container is too big for the plate, you can solve that by placing two stirrers side by side.

Ok... But I find it strange that the don't have a weight limit posted somewhere . So I'm assuming a 5 liter container won't be an issue? Thanks.

I think it would be great for GHL to post something up , I don't want to go buy the wrong containers .

As ReefRocker mentioned, any container that can safely be placed on the plate will be okay to use. A 5 liter container would be too big for the plate, but if you double up the stirrers or put something else underneath, then it will support the weight without issue.

Thickness of the container wall be would be a limit also. Too thick a wall size and the magnet would not be able to turn the puck.

Hi, still looking ! Can you guys post pics / links of the containers you're using? don't want to reinvent the wheel and do it wrong too[emoji51]
