Hi guys for 3d prints what are you doing for magnets are you coating them ? Or are there special ones for reef tanks ? Thanks

You'll want to get epoxy coated magnest and probably use more epoxy to make sure they are sealed really well. It takes just the smallest nick for neodymium magnets to start rusting.

What type of epoxy do you use ?

I used the plastic coated magnets from K&J magnetics. They sell plastic coated magnets. They’re a little more expensive than Home Depot magnets but you know they’re waterproof and will last so I don’t mind paying. Shipping has been quick for me as well.

another recommendation for k and j. lots to choose from. the thick plastic coated ones are best. I like the circle plastic coated 1/2in and also the larger 3/4in.
