Magnifica anemone

Here is my Magnifica with the clown. Please believe me that your Magnifica does not have any where even near enough light.

That anemone look healthy but bleached. It does need much better light. For now you can get one of the daylight flood light from Home Depo or other store shine that on him. He will be OK with that, This is what I put on my anemones in the sump of my tank.
Unless you give more light to it, it won't do well. Either that or get it to a tank that provide good environment for it. If you live close to me, rather then Astoria OR, I would buy him from you. They are beautiful, long live creature, that have the potential to live forever.

100 W equivalent daylight Flood light with a cheap clip-on base. This short term solution would cost you about 10 dollars.

Here are the lights I have on top of my Magnifica, and other anemones. Gigantea even require more light. The two Kessill are the 350. Each of the three spotlight are 20 W (100W equivalents) day light Flood light. I have since added two more of the spot lights.
Your light is not anywhere even near enough. Either provide more light, or else get him to the right tank. From what you wrote, your water chemistry seem to be OK, and stable. More light is what it needed.

It is joust an extra filter and has a protector on it to avoid that

It's climbing the back of your tank to find enough light and water flow to its liking.

I would move the filter, though the flow might be weaker than the typical powerheads we have in our tanks, Magnifica bodies are quite delicate and malleable and it won't take much force for it to be extruded into the intake of the HOB filter and possibly injure the anemone.

I'm sorry to be so blunt here, but if this mag is to thrive in your care you should look to do the following:

1. Get the extra light that's been recommended here
   • I have a pair of magnificas that are 2 inches below the surface of the water, and they're under more than 275Watts of LED lighting and probably would appreciate even more.
2. Add rockwork to allow the anemone to position itself favorably towards light you provide.
   • These anemones appreciate flat areas large enough for their foot, and, are typically found at the topmost parts of the reefs they inhabit in the wild.
   • I personally don't want my nems on the tank walls b/c they could walk into equipment and harm themselves or negatively impact the entire tank (I also think they look stressed when they do this).
3. Find a way to generate random and intense water flow directed around the anemone where ever it decides it's happiest in your tank.
   • Oscillating/random flow that's provided by most of the higher end powerheads (MP10s, Gyres, Neros) would be adequate
   • If you have multiple non-programmable powerheads, buying a wavemaker controller to randomize the flow in your tank would also be adequate

Providing adequate lighting and then finding the right balance between 2 and 3 will give you the best chance at success here and ensuring that the anemone is happy and healthy.

The fish won’t even notice (they make their own sunscreen, lol). The condies, like the mag will move to the right spot for them as well. Most all anemones live directly under the sun and are light loving organisms.

If you have any other corals that are sessile (cannot move), you may have to play with their placement. But unless you have any low-light or shade living corals, it probably won’t be an issue.

If you put the light right over the anemone, the other corals probably won't even notice.
