Update magnifica. He has been doing great but came home from work and found him like this. Immediately turned off the pump and tried to rub it loose. Didn’t work. Any ideas on how to get him loose. He is still alive and doesn’t appear to be caught in propeller. Desperate. I have come along way with this one

oh that sucks. I had the same thing happen to me. But with a Bubble tip anemone that was 10 times bigger than that. I covered my powerhead but I never thought I had to cover my filter intakes as well. Well I read that you should not touch it; he will crawl out of it by him self. Forcing him out will cause more damage. In my experience I let mine crawl out and then put a sponge on the filer turned it on (after I made sure that the Anemone was attached to a rock) but then hours later I found him sucked up in there as well WITH the sponge. So at that point I gave up took him out and gave it to my friend for a blue jaw trigger. hopefully someone can help you out good luck:) #reefsquad

I agree with just leaving it be with the pump off. I have a Mag. Built a pedestal using a flat rocks with a smaller rock between them. Used Marco cement to hold it together. Position it where the mag could not touch anything. Other rocks or glass. I have a power head blowing across the top of it. About an inch or so above it. They like flow, just not being blown off the rock. Mine been happy for a couple of years so far. Keep us posted on progress.

It worked its way out of it but this is where it is at. Any recommendations

Stop all flow but the return pump. Take a rock from the top, put it in a corner. Put the nem on it. Give the foot time to attach.
