Looking to upgrade from my Aquaclear 110 to a Magniflow 360 Canister for my 60g reef tank. It’s only a LPS/Softie tank. It only processes 360gph. Anyone think this would be a good fit? I can get it for practically free but want to know if it’s a waste or not.

If you’re disciplined to doing maintenance biweekly or less on it as they can produce nitrates if media not tended to, then yes.
Hang on back refugium and skimmer would be ideal

more of a hassle IMO, as vette said you need to clean them constantly which is more of a pain then changing out filter media in an aqua clear. I say add another aquaclear and do the tunze protein skimmer modification to add the protein skimmer (less chance of overflow onto floor)

I’m currently running the Aquaclear 110 and the 30? It’s the smallest model, and a skimmer rated for 100g. Just wanted to clean it up. Probably going to stay with what I got.

skimmer or extra filtration isnt needed, if it aint broke dont fix it
