Magnum Filter Material for Quarantine Tank

I have an old Magnum 350 Filter hanging around, I've used the blue filter material for the outer cover of the Magnum. The blue cylindrical filter cover isn't readily available for the Magnum. What media have you used either as a cover around the filter or inside of it?
I'll be using it for a Quarantine set-up....

The blue foam pad and phosphate sponge are safe without affecting the medication

Thank you vetteguy53081, I'll have time later to check-out those threads you sent along. Now you have me thinking I can use one of my old filter socks cut to fit around the Magnum 350 media container. I would think after a few weeks in my sump it would have suitable bacteria growing on it for the quarantine tank......
