Magtool dc nano skimmer mod Waterbox 20

So I bought a Magtool dc nano skimmer for my Waterbox 20 Aio and the skimmer is just a little big. So I am starting a thread to track my progress. It looks like I will need to shave off 3/64th off the bottom inch of the skimmer. Going to break out my dremel in the next couple days and see what I can do. I will post pictures once I get going.

I was able to shave 3/16ths off the skimmer body with out compromising the strength of the skimmer. I had to take a pretty big chunk off both sides of the skimmer bracket but I wasn’t worried about that as I knew I wouldn’t get into the screw holes. I used a dremel with a fine sanding wheel and just did a little at a time. If I took a little more off I would have more adjustability on the water level but I have more than enough so I’m not worried about that

did you buy the DC-SQ70 or DCSQ90...supposedly the SQ70 fits waterbox cube 20s so I'm thinking u got the bigger one
