I'm finding more idols on r2r every month. Love the scape!

Rev/mods; this is a TOTM contender! This tank is as good as any TOTM so far.

Already one of my favorite tanks... And I have only seen two pages... so far. All I can say is amazing!!! well done!!! Thanks for sharing, Im looking forward to following! Can you please go into more depth about your set up and experience... Do you have any of the progression pictures? I love how you gave each acro its own grow out space...

Thank you. As for setup, all the equipements that I have are listed in post #22. Other than that, much like everyone else I perform weekly water changes and feed the fishes twice (before leaving for work and before going to bed), I don't dose any additional elements to the tank.

Experience - I would consider myself as a beginner. My "success" is pretty much trial and error. However, with so many great hobbyists throughout the world I have gain a ton of knowledge to better myself and inhabitants by researching on great sites like R2R. I still have a long way to go.

Progession - This is definitely 1 category that I have failed in. I wish that I could go back and document everything so I can reflect back. With that said, I was able to dig up a few progression pics.

Pearlberry in June 2012. It was much smaller when I bought it. Below it is what it looks like today. A third of it broke while fragging it.:-(

Red Dragon June 2012 - Present. I moved the colony a few months back and didn't mount it well. So, as it grew the flow made it tip over so now this is what I have in addition to a bunch of mini and colonies.

Another unknown that I received from a friend. It started out as 3 pieces of nubs. I lost 2 and save 1 that was about a quarter of an inch. June 2012 - Present. In my care, this SPS is definitely a slow grower.

What the $%^&, your SSC looks huge!!

I got mines the same year and its no where near that size. What type of salt are you using and where do you keep your parameters? Your growth is crazy!

That Red Goniopora is awesome. How long did it take to grow that large?

very very nice tank and amazing goniopora!!

Thank you so much. Based on my recollection, I bought it in 2009 when 1 of the LFS was going out of business. At the time of purchased, it was "dead" from the base to the middle. Today, it has fully "encrusted". Fully open it's about 1 foot wide and 10 inches tall. It's taking alot of space; therefore, I have been thinking of finding it a new home. :-(

Beautiful tank man great job. I gotta get me some colorful sps like that

Looks great!!!!

Thank you.

Breath taking, hope I can be just as successful when I start my sps additions. Awesome tank.

note ll

Thank you. Again, I feel that we all started at the same point. However, if we commit and provide these beautiful creatures with all the essentials that they need to thrive. Eventually, we will end with the same common goal, beautiful reef aquariums.

Completely agree! This is a stunning tank. Well done Mahni!

Thank you for your kind gestures. This is very flattering. Unfortunately, I don't think that my tank is a contender when comparing to the other beauties that I've seen. Maybe we can revisit this again in the near future? :-)

I've always used Instant Ocean, cheap.:-) I only test the following:

Salinity Weekly - Last Sunday - 1.025
Phosphate - Once in a blue moon. Last check, 0.09 with a Hanna.
Alkalinity - Once in a blue moon. Last check, 7.
