Mail order coral question

So I was going to order some coral frags and I have never done this thru the mail so my question is I live in a cold area where it’s winter still should I wait till it gets warmer for shipping reasons? Or do they keep them temp regulated for shipping?

Most places pack coral with 48 hour heat packs to keep them warm in cold climates. However if it's going to be ridiculously cold id wait until it warms up

Most will ship with heat packs and make sure you can have someone home when the shipment arrives

I live in Massachusetts and I've always had good luck with winter shipping. Especially from smaller suppliers who will let you know if it's too cold to ship - or decide not to because bad weather may hold up the shipment.

I send and receive a lot nothing to worry about until single digits. Even then pretty safe if packed well.
