Mail Ordering Livestock

I have a newly cycled 91 gallon tank that's practically empty so I ordered some corals and chromis by mail order given the current situation, thinking if any fish can survive the trip it's them. I had one DOA and just found another bit the dust this morning. My question is, do people tend to order more corals from mail order than fish? The dealer is very reputable and has already credited me for the DOA but I feel horrible about having these two fatalities.

I've never ordered fish but usually get my CUC and corals mail ordered.

FWIW I've never had good luck with chromis when I buy them at the LFS.

Most coral and cuc, but a number of my fish have come from online vendors.
