Main Brain Differences

Hello everyone I am seeing lots of people labeling their brain corals "wellso" or "trachy" or "lobo"... Is there any definitive definition on which kind of brain matches with which name? Thanks

wellsophyllias are just big trachyphyllias that people don't realize aren't a different coral, lobos grow circle/oval shaped heads which split.

Wellso have been renamed and placed in the trachy family as said basically people call larger ones wellso still. And lobo are rounder/oval shaped normally and split into different heads.

"Brain corals" is a very vague term to describe these LPS corals which comprises of many genera. So for each coral it has a genus and species name. So in short you'll see and hear a lot of slang describing each particular genus or species or both. Ha! You'll catch on!
