Hi everyone, just like the title says does anyone have tips to maintain alk on nano reefs? The tank is about 45 days old for the first 30 days or so I was able to keep the alk pretty stable but in the past 2 weeks they took off in growth and started encrusting everything and I have not been able to keep it as stable since. Im having to increase dosing every 3 days because they are consuming alk and calcium heavily at an unpredictable rate. I maintain my Alk between 8.5 and 9 but its super out of whack now. Last night I dosed an imcreased amount, and this morning my alk was at 8 and I lost a frag to RTN. Its a 30 cube with about 30 sps frags/colonies and Im worried if I dont get this under control im gonna lose them! Any hell will be appreciated.

I'm not convinced an alk of 8 caused RTN, but dosing a two part is probably the easiest way to maintain alk and calcium in a very small tank.

They can be diluted as much as you want or need for using a dosing pump, if you want to go that route.
