Maintaining Alkalinity with Kalk reactor ?

I have been manually dosing and now looking to see if u can maintain alkalinity and calcium with Kalk reactor or stirr .Have a mixed reef in 50gln system . I dose 10ml of each solution on daily basis

Limewater is about 45 times less potent than my DIY recipe #1 (is that what you have been dosing, such as BRS sells)?

If so, and if you evaporate at least 450 mL per day, it should work out.

Slow dosing is very important.

Let say if I use a Kalk stirr. How much Kalk powder should I add

you put in the amount the stirrer is designed to hold, regardless of the needed dose. If you need less than saturated limewater, you put the stirrer on a timer.
