I'm currently working on adjusting my cal and alk to levels I would like to maintain.
Once I get to those levels will kalk in ato keep the ratio. Ie if I can keep my alk stable will the cal follow or vice versa? Or is this tank dependant and I may have to dose alk or cal in addition to the kalk if they don't stay balanced?
What is best practice for water changes if my make up water isn't on par with my tank numbers. Do I dose the make up water prior to water change?
