Hey guys. What do you soak your pumps in? Looking for an inexpensive option. TIA

Vinegar if you have stuff encrusted on (coraline, or other hard algae). Otherwise RO/DI water and a toothbrush works well for algae.

+5 Vinegar

You can also reuse the vinegar over & over again too. It might look nasty with all the gunk in it, but just use a funnel and pour it right back into the plastic container until the next time. Eventually you'll replace it, but at least get a few good soaks out of it first. GL.

+1 to reusing the vinegar. I reuse it countless times, until I clean something really really gross... then I replace it.

Good tip @cloak! I am too lazy to pour it back in the jug. Just leave it in the 5 gallon bucket until the appearance is too gross! :D

I also dilute it about 1:1 with RO/DI instead of full strength. That way the gallon is enough to cover even pretty big submersible pumps.
