Maintenance Question

What's the best way to remove the film of salt off stand and hood? My stand and hood are black, and I don't notice it when just looking at it, but when taking pictures it's got white drips all over them from where I slopped water at one time I suppose. Any great product to get it off of there without a lot of work?

This is after a wipedown in apple cider vinegar and water. The film shows badly on photos! Embarrassing.

I would just use a rag soaked in RO water, then dry it, repeat. You probably already tried this?
