Sorry it's been awhile that I have been on the site. As most of you know I get board easy with my tanks and sell them and start over with something new. Well here goes another one!!!!!!

Ordered a custom 89 gallon rimless tank by Planet Aquarium. 48x24x18

3 AI Hydras
Vortech MP 40Wes
Profilux 3
Profilux doser
2 Tunze 9004 skimmers

I'm going to make the tank a AIO (the back section will be built by me) it's basically going to look like the Nuvo SR 80 but better built and half the price.
Stand will be a nice piece of furniture
All live stock will come from the 215 DSA

215 was broken down and sold. All of the livestock went into a 40 breeder.

Now that the tank is gone I finally got to paint behind the tank and replace the flooring.

Here is the tank before I build the back section for the AIO.

And here is the stand for the tank.

Added some lights for now

Then I lime waxed it to change the color of the wood so it didn't blend in with the floor. It gives it a old washed look.

putting the tank on top

Just mapping out the baffles in the back and got all the bracing done. Up next is the top drawer.

get some electrical work done... Got to replace the doser tubing and find a water top off container. Then organize once it's all set in.

Picked up the glass baffles. Got the drawer tracks screwed in.

Built the drawers. Going to stain and find a center drawer pull to match.

Got the stain on and added the raise panel.. Need a drawer pull and done.. I think once I get the drawer pull it will break up that long flat area

Couldn't help myself, had to start putting stuff in the drawers.

I did get my filter sock brackets in so now I can silicon the baffles.

I put a beveled edge on the top. I just have to sand it down and flame polish it.

My second skimmer came in today. Fits perfectly in the back, no nasty skimmer cup poking out from the back when looking at the tank.

Silicone was dry enough to put sand in but will wait a extra day before water goes in. In the meantime I still need to do a few more things to the tank.

Had a scrap of acrylic so I made a back cover. Next I will window tent the sides of the back section so it looks clean.

Got the lights on, I'll make the final hight adjustment once the coral gets in. I'll cut the wire and hide the power cords.

Quick cellphone pic of the rock and coral transfer into the new tank. I have to say this is my favorite tank that I have ever owned.
