I personally think it was velvet or issues with oxygen.

Velvet my prime suspect and yes , eel best isolated and can even be treated with ruby rally pro which will protect from velvet

Did you notice the eyes cloudy or tons of salt looking specs on your fish before they perished? Were any swimming into the power heads? If not than it’s not velvet..

I’m not a disease expert by any means but I would suspect velvet killed a couple of the fish causing an ammonia spike which in turn killed your inverts. Sorry for your losses.

My Achilles had cloudy eyes, and was swimming in front of power head a bit last night. I’m going to bring my water in later today to LFS to test everything again.

That sounds right and as they weaken, they drift around the flow and increased breathing

Don’t see any really, except for on Achilles which I know he had ich before.

The more I read about velvet the more I think it is. All fish had a reduced appetite, most fish were hiding as well. The Achilles spots also look like velvet not ich after reading articles.
