i was initially considering 2 MP40s and 1/2 max gyres. But the mention of needing an icecap to control from an apex, loss of pump power was brought up. I’d preferably like everything on one system and easily controlled. Suggestions or options? Experience?

Since I am a Tunze guy I would recommend dual 6095's. Or even dual dual 6055's I saw a guy sell two 6055's the old style with an advance digital controller for like a 125 total.
