Making a BRS reactor into a Chateo Reactor???

So I have seen a lot of people making their own chateo reactors and was thinking about trying to turn my BRS reactor into a chateo reactor. Anyone done this before?

I believe people have attempted this, but the problem I see is internal space to grow the chaetomorpha. Not much space in one of those RO/DI chambers.
