Making a rock column for my 55 gallon Hex

Hey guys- I just got 50 pounds of dry rock for $40..... the tank that i will be putting it in is a 55 gallon hex tank. I want to build the rock in the middle of the aquarium but what is the best way to go about making sure that the rock stays together and doesnt fall over on any of my fish or corals that i will be getting in the future? I will be getting new sand along with saltwater from my lfs, so i will be going through the cycling process anyway. Any advice would be appreciated :wink:

The easiest way to do it ia drill the rock in a desired place and put a acrylic rod through the holes . When you get the right shape that you like add a drop off. Marine silicone to hold it in place.
