Okay, I'm likely talking to myself here since I'll likely have to make a choice long before anyone responds to my request. I currently have a total water volume of 130g, but I'll likely upgrade within the year to around 220g. It's for a mixed reef, a bit of everything.
There are SOOOOO many choices, making picking one a bit of a crap shoot. I've narrowed it down to the Bubble Magnus Curve 7, the Reef Octopus Regal 150INT, and the Reef Octopus Classic 202-S. These two brands draw good reviews and are all around the $300 mark. Space is limited so I'm currently leaning towards the 202-S.
Yes, I know there are LOTS of other great skimmers, but I'm trying to make a choice, not increase my options.... so between these three, anyone have anything good or bad to say? Any input would be GREATLY appreciated!

Oh? And why do you think that? Do you have any firsthand experience you'd be willing to share?

None whatsoever, but assuming all three skimmers are equal in performance, the 202-S occupies less space and seems the cleanest design.

Thanks so much! And you... you're a tad disturbed for talking to yourself.

Lol, I lurked on this thread because I was considering the 110 INT. The feedback you received probably is more useful to you than to me.

I've spent many hours reading reviews and forums these past 24hrs. My head hurts and I'm sick of researching. The conclusion I've come to is this. Anyone who does their research can come to but one conclusion. I mean it's not even close. The Vertex Omega line is the one to have. I wasn't at all familiar with them till now, wasn't on my radar. It turns out this was an easy choice. I'm going with the 150.

This was the review that sold me:
