suggestion: what temperature making RODI water? How reefers run your water? Does it help to save money on filtrations? I’m running 100% cold water with booster pump.

-hot water 100%
-warmer 75/25
-warm water 50/50
-colder 25/75
-cold water 100%

feedback....thank you

I let it flow from the tap but warmer water comes out in the summer and produces rodi faster. Summer I can do 6 gallons an hour and winter it's more like 5 gph

I think i remember hearing that you should only run cold water. As in leave the hot turned completely off. It has something to do with the hot water tank...

Do not add hot water to your feed water. Use whatever temperature you have. When membranes are tested, they are tested at 78F....doesn't mean you need to run your RO at that temperature. And yes, temperature will impact production rate.

In the summer I make 5 gallons of good water in about 95 minutes. In the winter, it takes 120 - 125 minutes to make that same five gallons.

Brs did a test on this. There’s a video on their site somewhere.
