Currently I have a 5 gallon bucket in my utility room that has a float valve up top and a spigot at the bottom and that's where I mix salt. I bought the kit that has the pressure actuated solenoid but I guess I don't have enough pressure for it to actuate. I'm looking in to a booster pump (which I pretty much need anyway) but just want to make sure I'm buying the right stuff. This is what's in my cart:

These parts, when used in conjunction with the float valve, will completely shut off my RODI unit when the float valve is actuated, correct?

Hey! You just saved me a lot of frustration. Thanks for the tip. Just installed this and it works flawlessly, but one question - how do you get the water to stop coming out the waste line?

Do you have the solenoid on the wrong side of the ro membrane. It should go after the output of the ro membrane (product water).
