Making the move from 75 to 180

Love the aquascape. Very nice occupants. I also have a sailfin tang. My LFS never warned me on how big they get. I will be looking for a new home for some of my bigger fish.

Ours didn't either, among other issues. That's why we buy exclusively through a company that does maint, setup, etc now and not our LFS.

Not great pics since they were in the buckets. I'll try and get better ones tomorrow after everyone is settled in.

Hope you realize that your marine betta may eat the smaller fish in your tank as it gets bigger.

We know it's a possiblity. We don't plan on having many small fish that would be a meal for it.

Their nice looking fish but that's why I never got one, i like having Gobies & pistol shrimp in my tank.

I wonder if that's what happened to our watchman goby? Our pistol shrimp was huge, probably too big for the betta but the goby maybe....

It's highly possible, kinda like a lionfish or grouper, if it fits in the mouth it's gone.

He was decent sized and hardly ever out. But we havent seen him in awhile. Hopefully he's just hiding

They will do that, I had some Wheelers gobies that hid for over a month when I added them, thought they were gone but popped up eventually.

Yea these two disappear for weeks at a time then we will randomly see a new pile of sand pop up.

I completely forgot about a nice camera I've had just sitting in the closet (and turning the white lights on more lol). The glass needs cleaning and I had just feed them (wasn't really planning on taking pictures). But here's some better shot of them.

Well thanks to the good guys at #reefbreeders I now have fully functioning QP-16, QPS-9 and 2 RN-1 Nano wave makers lol. Now I need to figure out how to best use all/some combination of them in our tank.

Current stock. The PBT died within a couple days unfortunately. The sailfin started being a bully so we managed to get him out and swapped him for 3 yellow's in the hope that everyone get's a long better. In the process of chasing him around I learned I had some dead spots in the aquascape. Redid the right side of the tank and in a couple weeks after everyone has settled down a little I'll redo the other side.
