Malachite Green How effective

I have a 3 spot domino in a QT/Solitary confinement. It was clean in my DT for months but since putting in QT yesterday I noticed spots. I disturbed the bottom recently and assume ich may have been on the bottom.

I added 1.5 ml to a 10gal tank.

Malachite green is not very effective against marine ich, and when it is used it typically is dosed along with formalin.
If you are confident it is ich, coppersafe works better. You would need a test kit though. If you know the exact volume of the tank and use a pipette, you can dose coppersafe without a test kit fairly safely.
