Malaysian Acros

Hence the was going to buy part. I saw one of their tonga torch and the colors on that and emptied out my cart real quick.
But the question was where can we buy them. That's one option.

Yea thanks for posting that link, I have stopped looking for acros for the time being but would continue if I knew more places that had these, that is if they are keeping the corals at a decent size and not chopping them up.
Anyone who orders from there let us know how they look, good or bad.

I’ve bought a lot from TCK and this isn’t an edited pic. I was sent a cell phone video as well to confirm it. I’m not saying he doesn’t edit pics. I’m just saying this isn’t one of them. I’m sure it’s under blues with a filter, but who doesn’t do that.

People that I buy corals from :D I've bought from TCK as well, their pics are suspect at best.

I've seen this site also. The pics under heavy blues were not very appealing to me.

I was under the impression Malaysia export was closed down too, but I guess not

My main interest is some of the smooth skins, and other oddball species that's not available from Aus, but can be found in the Malaysian/Indo waters. Hopefully we can see some more diversity in Acro selections if these coral keep coming in.
Malaysian coral exports have never closed but it is still a fairly new source of corals and inverts compared to Indonesia.

Everyone I have talked to says they can’t get anything from there, I am going to keep askin til I get a straight answer :)
Don't think their farms are as extensive as what the Indonesians had before the coral export ban so it's a matter of limited supply to very high demand. They are neighbouring countries though and thus share the many similarities in coral species and diversity.

Well, that's good to hear. I had just been seeing Aussie stuff for so long I figured they were the only country exporting corals, but never really dug into any research. Only just recently have I really begun to see these nicer Malaysian pieces coming in.

This is exciting, though. Looking forward to seeing what new corals/color morphs might come out of that region.

I’ve got one on the way
